By accessing or using the website at therealcarpetcleaners.com, scheduling a service, or engaging with The Real Carpet Cleaners in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone who interacts with our website or contacts us for services.

 

2. About Our Services

The Real Carpet Cleaners is a professional cleaning company based in Carlisle, PA, offering the following services:

  • Carpet cleaning
  • Rug cleaning
  • Brick and grout cleaning
  • LVP, vinyl, and laminate floor cleaning
  • Furniture and upholstery cleaning
  • Mattress cleaning
  • Filtration line cleaning

We serve Carlisle, PA and surrounding areas within approximately one hour of our base location. A $120 travel surcharge applies to locations outside our standard service range. Service availability is subject to scheduling and geographic coverage — contact us to confirm we serve your area before booking.

 

3. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided — whether over the phone, by text, email, or through our website — are estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing may vary depending on:

  • Actual room sizes (standard pricing applies to rooms up to 200 sq ft)
  • Severity of staining or soiling
  • Type of fabric, fiber, or surface material
  • Accessibility of the area to be cleaned
  • Any additional services requested on the day of the appointment

A minimum charge of $140 applies to all services. A 2-room minimum is required for carpet cleaning appointments. Severe staining may incur an upcharge, which will be communicated before work begins.

Promotional discounts — including the military and first responder discount — are applied at the time of service and are subject to the minimum charge requirement.

 

4. Scheduling and Appointments

Booking

Appointments can be scheduled by calling or texting us at 717-307-5849 or by submitting a request through our website contact form. All appointments are confirmed directly with a member of our team.

Punctuality

We make every effort to arrive on time. In the event of an unexpected delay, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as early as possible — ideally at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee or refusal of future bookings at our discretion.

No-Shows

If we arrive at the scheduled location and cannot access the property, or if no one is available to provide access, this may be treated as a cancellation and a trip charge may apply.

 

5. Customer Responsibilities

To help us deliver the best possible results, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your property, surfaces, and any known staining or damage when booking
  • Ensure the areas to be cleaned are reasonably accessible at the time of the appointment
  • Remove or relocate fragile, valuable, or sentimental items from the work area prior to our arrival
  • Disclose any pre-existing damage to carpets, rugs, flooring, or furniture before cleaning begins
  • Ensure pets are secured during the appointment for the safety of both your pets and our team

We are happy to assist with moving lightweight furniture where possible, but we are not responsible for damage to items that were not disclosed or that could not safely be moved.

 

6. Pre-Existing Conditions and Limitations

Professional cleaning can dramatically improve the appearance of carpets, rugs, and upholstery — but it cannot reverse all damage. The following limitations apply:

  • Permanent stains: Some stains (such as bleach, certain dyes, rust, or deeply set pet urine) may not be fully removable. We will do our best, but results cannot be guaranteed for heavily damaged materials.
  • Wear and aging: Cleaning cannot restore worn, torn, matted, or structurally compromised fibers to like-new condition.
  • Shrinkage or color change: Certain rugs and fabrics may be sensitive to moisture or cleaning solutions. We exercise professional care, but we are not liable for reactions caused by undisclosed material types or pre-existing vulnerabilities.
  • Pre-existing damage: We are not responsible for damage that existed prior to our service. Any pre-existing issues should be noted before cleaning begins.

If we identify a concern about the cleanability or condition of a surface before starting work, we will communicate this to you and give you the opportunity to proceed or decline the service.

 

7. Satisfaction and Re-Cleans

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not happy with the results of your cleaning, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment. We will work with you to address any legitimate concerns, which may include a complimentary re-clean of the affected area at our discretion.

We do not offer refunds for completed services where the work was performed as agreed. Re-cleans are offered as a goodwill gesture and are not a guarantee.

 

8. Payment

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, and commonly used digital payment methods — please confirm accepted payment options when booking.

Gift cards issued by The Real Carpet Cleaners are redeemable for services only and have no cash value. Gift card balances are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

9. Website Use

The content on therealcarpetcleaners.com — including text, images, service descriptions, and branding — is owned by The Real Carpet Cleaners and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without our written permission.

You agree not to:

  • Use our website for any unlawful purpose

  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Real Carpet Cleaners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim related to a specific cleaning appointment shall not exceed the amount paid for that appointment.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for damage directly caused by our team’s negligence during a service visit.

 

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
